I am 55 years old and live In Olympia, Washington in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. I live with my husband and our three pets. Our senior rescue dog Izzy is a beagle and former lab research animal, in all the wonderful & challenging ways. Our new cat BooBoo Kitty was a local unowned cat and is now our indoor-only princess who we adore. It turns out she is feral but she is happy and loves us, just on her own terms. Felix is a giant kitten we adopted because Lorenzo needed a cuddly cat. We've lived in Washington state since 2016. Before that we lived in Chicago.
In addition to my professional work, I love to garden. This photo shows my orange calendula flower and Thai basil. I also watch Kdramas and am slowly learning Korean. Here's a cute video my husband filmed and narrated showing me and some of our pets in our backyard back in 2021.
